Electrician in Rouse Hill
Smart lighting and network cabling for the newer homes and townhouses of Rouse Hill.
Your Rouse Hill Electrician
Rouse Hill is one of the newest parts of the Hills District, and End Point Electrical takes on work there from Terrey Hills. Homes and townhouses here are mostly recent, so typical jobs build on what is in place, such as Clipsal Wiser smart switches or data points in rooms the builder skipped. Cameras over the garage come up too. Ring 0478 045 154. NSW licence 397311C.

Rouse Hill: recent estates on small lots, and townhouses near the metro
Most of Rouse Hill has been built since the early 2000s, with estates of project homes on compact lots and rows of townhouses closer to the town centre and the metro. The wiring in these homes is recent and the boards have safety switches throughout. What owners ask for is more: smarter control of the lights they already have, and network points in the rooms where they now work and watch TV.
Many of these homes came with a small data cabinet in a cupboard and a couple of points that were never connected to anything. We test what is there and terminate it, then run extra cable where needed. Townhouses and homes in community title estates may have rules about what goes on the outside, so cameras and doorbells are worth checking with the association before they go up.
Typical jobs
Typical Jobs in Rouse Hill
What the work usually involves, how long it takes and what you are left with when we pack up.
Home automation
Clipsal Wiser smart switches and dimmers fitted in place of the standard ones in Rouse Hill homes.
Most automation work centres on lighting control: scenes and timers you run from an app or a wall keypad. Larger homes usually go with a wired system such as Clipsal C-Bus or KNX, while Clipsal Wiser suits a smaller retrofit. Climate and blinds can be added later. Cabling is far easier during a build or renovation, so we plan it with you and your builder early.
- You end up with
- A programmed system with a run-through of the controls, plus a CCEW for the electrical work
Data points and Wi-Fi
Builder data cabinets in Rouse Hill homes tested and connected, with new points run to the study.
A typical data job adds wired points to the rooms that need a steady connection, such as a home office or the wall behind the TV. Every cable runs back to one spot near the NBN connection, where the network gear lives. Where Wi-Fi drops out, we mount access points on the ceiling and feed them by cable. Each point is tested and labelled.
- You end up with
- Tested, labelled data points and Wi-Fi coverage in the rooms you use
Security camera install
Cameras and video doorbells for Rouse Hill homes and townhouses, positioned within estate rules.
A typical home job is a set of cameras covering the entry points and the driveway, recording to a unit inside the house, with the feeds on your phone. Some homes add a video intercom at the front door or gate. We plan the camera positions with you, then run the cable through the roof space and walls so nothing is left exposed outside.
- You end up with
- Cameras showing on your phone, plus a walkthrough of the recorder and the app

“I can highly recommend End Point Electrical. They have provided exemplary service to me, undertaking electrical and network wiring work at both my previous townhouse and my current apartment. They are so good that I have signed them up as the preferred supplier to our building, of which I am the strata committee chair.”

“Andrew and Jake have been amazing and professional to work with. They've fixed power points and replaced light fittings at my place. I've since recommended them to both my parents and grandparents where a fuse box upgrade has been completed for my fathers place and an oven install along with lighting and ceiling fans for my grandmother. Both have had nothing but positive things to say. Would highly recommend!”

“I recently completed a major renovation on my home where we essentially rebuilt it stage by stage, eventually tripling the size of the house. Endpoint Electrical wired the entire project and were fantastic to work with from start to finish. Our build was a little unconventional compared to a standard new build, as we were living in the house the whole time. This meant the electrical work had to constantly adapt — thinking about both the present and the future, with some areas not even built yet while others were scheduled to be removed later on. Despite the challenges, the team handled everything professionally and thoughtfully. They are exceptional at what they do, very easy to communicate with, can think out of the box and all round a top blokes. I use them when ever I can and recommend to all.”

“Andy, Jake and their team were fantastic. Great communication, showed up when they said they would and with all materials there. They adapted smoothly to my atypical problems and their attention to detail was outstanding. Their work is so neat and tidy I asked them to back to tidy up a previous electrician's messy cabling. I've recommended End Point to multiple friends already and will keep coming back.”

Rouse Hill Electrician FAQs
Our Rouse Hill home has a data cabinet but the points do not work. Can you fix that?
Usually. Builders often run cable to a few rooms and leave it unterminated in the cabinet. We test each run and terminate both ends, then label them and connect them to a switch beside your router. If a room has no cable, we run a new one through the roof space. Each point is tested before we leave.
Which rooms are worth automating first in a Rouse Hill home?
Living areas and outdoor lights tend to get the most use from scenes and timers, so they are a good place to start. Clipsal Wiser lets you add smart switches room by room, and the rest of the house can follow later. We talk through your daily routine first, then suggest where control will make a difference.
Do we need permission to put cameras on our Rouse Hill townhouse?
Check your community title or strata rules first, since external walls are often common property and some schemes set rules on camera positions. Point cameras at your own entry and garage, away from the neighbours' yards. Once you have the go-ahead, we run cable through the roof space and set up the recorder and phone app.
