Electrician in Kellyville
Adding EV chargers and alfresco lighting to Kellyville homes built from the 1990s onwards.
Your Kellyville Electrician
Kellyville is part of the Hills District patch End Point Electrical covers from Terrey Hills. Most homes here are newer estate builds, so the wiring is usually sound and typical work is adding to it. An EV charger that works with the solar is a common request, and so is lighting with a fan for the alfresco. Call 0478 045 154. Our NSW licence is 397311C.

Kellyville: newer estates and builder-spec homes
Kellyville grew out of farmland from the 1990s onwards, and its estates are full of project homes with double garages and rooftop solar. Boards in these houses already have safety switches, so the wiring itself is rarely the issue. The catch is that builders fitted the minimum, often a handful of power points per room on a board with few spare slots. Owners spend the first years adding what was left out.
An EV charger is now one of the most common additions, and pairing it with the existing solar so the car charges from daytime generation makes good sense. Alfresco areas get ceiling fans and lighting for evenings outside. Ducted systems installed by the original builder are reaching replacement age in the older estates, and a larger unit can need heavier cable back to the switchboard.
Typical jobs
Typical Jobs in Kellyville
What the work usually involves, how long it takes and what you are left with when we pack up.
Home EV charger
Chargers for Kellyville garages, set up to run off rooftop solar during the day where the system allows.
A home EV charger usually goes on a garage or carport wall, on its own circuit from the switchboard. We check the board has capacity first and help you pick a charger that suits your car and how far you drive. If you have solar, we can set the charger up to use daytime generation. Load management on the charger helps when the board is close to its limit.
- Usual time on site
- 2 to 4 hours
- You end up with
- A tested charger on a dedicated circuit and a CCEW
Lighting upgrade
Alfresco and garden lighting for Kellyville homes, with weatherproof power added on the same visit.
Plenty of lighting jobs start with old halogen downlights coming out in favour of LED. Others add lights to a renovated room or light a path and garden for the evenings. We agree the layout and the switching with you first, so the lights land where you need them. Then we fit them and set up dimmers in the rooms where you want softer light.
- Usual time on site
- 1 to 3 hours
- You end up with
- Working lights on the switching you asked for, with a CCEW for the installation work
Air conditioning circuit
Heavier circuits for bigger ducted units going into Kellyville homes from the early estates.
Most heating and cooling work starts at the switchboard. A split system or ducted unit needs its own circuit and an isolator at the outdoor unit, sized for what the system draws, and older boards often need upgrading first. We wire for brands such as Daikin and Mitsubishi Electric. Electric underfloor heating in bathrooms is another regular job.
- You end up with
- A dedicated, tested circuit for the system and a CCEW

What Our Clients Say About End Point Electrical
5.0 from 14 Google reviews- Rated 5 out of 5
“Andrew and Jake have been amazing and professional to work with. They've fixed power points and replaced light fittings at my place. I've since recommended them to both my parents and grandparents where a fuse box upgrade has been completed for my fathers place and an oven install along with lighting and ceiling fans for my grandmother. Both have had nothing but positive things to say. Would highly recommend!”

“I recently completed a major renovation on my home where we essentially rebuilt it stage by stage, eventually tripling the size of the house. Endpoint Electrical wired the entire project and were fantastic to work with from start to finish. Our build was a little unconventional compared to a standard new build, as we were living in the house the whole time. This meant the electrical work had to constantly adapt — thinking about both the present and the future, with some areas not even built yet while others were scheduled to be removed later on. Despite the challenges, the team handled everything professionally and thoughtfully. They are exceptional at what they do, very easy to communicate with, can think out of the box and all round a top blokes. I use them when ever I can and recommend to all.”

“Andy, Jake and their team were fantastic. Great communication, showed up when they said they would and with all materials there. They adapted smoothly to my atypical problems and their attention to detail was outstanding. Their work is so neat and tidy I asked them to back to tidy up a previous electrician's messy cabling. I've recommended End Point to multiple friends already and will keep coming back.”

Kellyville Electrician FAQs
My Kellyville home has solar. Can the EV charger use it?
Many chargers can be set to favour solar, charging when the panels produce more than the house uses. Whether yours can depends on the charger model and your inverter. We look at both before recommending a charger, then fit it on its own circuit from the board. A home charger install takes 2 to 4 hours.
Why does my newer Kellyville house have so few power points?
Volume builders often fit the minimum the plans call for, which leaves kitchens and bedrooms short of outlets. Adding double power points is a regular small job. If the board has spare slots we put new outlets on their own circuit, and if it is full we explain the options before starting.
Can you add a ceiling fan and lights to our Kellyville alfresco?
Yes. Most alfresco ceilings have access from the roof space or the eave, so cable runs are usually simple. We fit outdoor-rated fans and lights and put them on switches inside, with a weatherproof power point if you want one. A fan install typically takes 1 to 2 hours.
