Brookvale: trade estate units and older houses
A large part of Brookvale is trade units, from workshops to showrooms, many in strata complexes where each unit has its own board. Businesses change hands often, and a new tenant usually needs power where the last one had none, such as three-phase outlets for a compressor or a welder. Older warehouses still run fluorescent or metal halide high-bays that are due for LED replacement.
When a fault cuts power to a workshop, work stops, so fault finding is a regular request here. We look for the cause before resetting anything, since a tool or a damaged lead is often to blame. Around the industrial area are residential streets of post-war houses and some older units, where the work looks more like the rest of the Beaches, with board replacements and extra power points.
Typical jobs
Typical Jobs in Brookvale
What the work usually involves, how long it takes and what you are left with when we pack up.
Commercial fit-out and maintenance
Three-phase outlets and new circuits for Brookvale workshop machinery, checked against the unit board's capacity.
Commercial work is mostly power and lighting for office and shop fit-outs, plus the emergency and exit lights that need regular testing. In a larger building we arrange access and any shutdowns with the building manager. Noisy or power-off work is planned around your trading hours where possible, and the switchboard schedule is updated when we finish.
- You end up with
- Tested circuits with an updated switchboard schedule, plus a CCEW
Emergency callout
Fault finding for Brookvale businesses when a breaker or safety switch keeps cutting the power.
Most urgent calls start with a safety switch that will not reset, or a burning smell near a fitting or the switchboard. When you ring, we tell you how soon we can get there, which depends on where you are and how the day is booked. On site we track down the faulty circuit or appliance and make it safe. You get a quote before any repair starts.
- You end up with
- Power back on wherever it is safe and the fault explained in plain terms, with a CCEW for any installation work
Lighting upgrade
LED high-bay fittings replacing fluorescent and metal halide lights in Brookvale warehouses.
Plenty of lighting jobs start with old halogen downlights coming out in favour of LED. Others add lights to a renovated room or light a path and garden for the evenings. We agree the layout and the switching with you first, so the lights land where you need them. Then we fit them and set up dimmers in the rooms where you want softer light.
- Usual time on site
- 1 to 3 hours
- You end up with
- Working lights on the switching you asked for, with a CCEW for the installation work

What Our Clients Say About End Point Electrical
5.0 from 14 Google reviews- Rated 5 out of 5
“I recently completed a major renovation on my home where we essentially rebuilt it stage by stage, eventually tripling the size of the house. Endpoint Electrical wired the entire project and were fantastic to work with from start to finish. Our build was a little unconventional compared to a standard new build, as we were living in the house the whole time. This meant the electrical work had to constantly adapt — thinking about both the present and the future, with some areas not even built yet while others were scheduled to be removed later on. Despite the challenges, the team handled everything professionally and thoughtfully. They are exceptional at what they do, very easy to communicate with, can think out of the box and all round a top blokes. I use them when ever I can and recommend to all.”

“Andrew and Jake have been amazing and professional to work with. They've fixed power points and replaced light fittings at my place. I've since recommended them to both my parents and grandparents where a fuse box upgrade has been completed for my fathers place and an oven install along with lighting and ceiling fans for my grandmother. Both have had nothing but positive things to say. Would highly recommend!”

“Andy, Jake and their team were fantastic. Great communication, showed up when they said they would and with all materials there. They adapted smoothly to my atypical problems and their attention to detail was outstanding. Their work is so neat and tidy I asked them to back to tidy up a previous electrician's messy cabling. I've recommended End Point to multiple friends already and will keep coming back.”

Brookvale Electrician FAQs
Can you add power for new machinery in my Brookvale unit?
Usually. We check what the unit board and the supply to it can carry, then run a dedicated circuit or a three-phase outlet for the machine. In a strata complex the supply to each unit can be limited, so we may need details from the strata manager. Tell us the machine model and its power rating when you call.
Is it worth switching our Brookvale warehouse lights to LED high-bays?
For lights that run most of the day, it usually is. LED high-bays use much less power than metal halide or fluorescent fittings and reach full brightness straight away. They also last longer, which cuts down on hiring a lift to change lamps. We count the fittings and check mounting heights before quoting.
Our Brookvale workshop keeps losing power. What should we do?
Note what was running when the power went off and which breaker or safety switch tripped. Do not keep resetting it if it trips again straight away. On site we isolate circuits and test tools and leads one at a time until the cause shows up, then quote any repair before starting. A damaged lead or a failing tool is a common cause.
