Your Pymble Electrician
Pymble homes tend to sit on large blocks with long driveways, and End Point Electrical drives over from Terrey Hills to work on them. Typical requests are lighting for the garden and the driveway, and a video intercom out at the gate. Renovated bathrooms often get electric underfloor heating as well. Call us on 0478 045 154. Pymble 2073
Pymble: houses set well back on big, leafy blocks
Pymble is a suburb of large blocks under a heavy tree canopy. The housing runs from Federation and interwar homes, several in heritage conservation areas, to architect-designed post-war houses on the sloping streets of West Pymble. Many sit a long way back from the street. That distance shapes the electrical work, since lights along a driveway or an intercom at the gate can mean a cable run of many metres, usually in conduit underground.
Gardens here are a big part of the house, and owners often want them lit for the evening without glare into the neighbours' yards. Low, shielded path lights and uplights on feature trees are the usual mix. Inside, bathroom renovations are common in the older homes, and electric underfloor heating is a popular addition, with its own circuit and a thermostat on the wall.
Typical jobs
Typical Jobs in Pymble
What the work usually involves, how long it takes and what you are left with when we pack up.
Lighting upgrade
Path lights and tree uplights for Pymble gardens, aimed to light the garden without spilling over the fence.
Plenty of lighting jobs start with old halogen downlights coming out in favour of LED. Others add lights to a renovated room or light a path and garden for the evenings. We agree the layout and the switching with you first, so the lights land where you need them. Then we fit them and set up dimmers in the rooms where you want softer light.
- Usual time on site
- 1 to 3 hours
- You end up with
- Working lights on the switching you asked for, with a CCEW for the installation work
Security camera install
Video intercoms at Pymble front gates, cabled underground from the house, with cameras on the driveway if you want them.
A typical home job is a set of cameras covering the entry points and the driveway, recording to a unit inside the house, with the feeds on your phone. Some homes add a video intercom at the front door or gate. We plan the camera positions with you, then run the cable through the roof space and walls so nothing is left exposed outside.
- You end up with
- Cameras showing on your phone, plus a walkthrough of the recorder and the app
Air conditioning circuit
Dedicated circuits and thermostats for electric underfloor heating in renovated Pymble bathrooms.
Most heating and cooling work starts at the switchboard. A split system or ducted unit needs its own circuit and an isolator at the outdoor unit, sized for what the system draws, and older boards often need upgrading first. We wire for brands such as Daikin and Mitsubishi Electric. Electric underfloor heating in bathrooms is another regular job.
- You end up with
- A dedicated, tested circuit for the system and a CCEW

“Andrew and Jake have been amazing and professional to work with. They've fixed power points and replaced light fittings at my place. I've since recommended them to both my parents and grandparents where a fuse box upgrade has been completed for my fathers place and an oven install along with lighting and ceiling fans for my grandmother. Both have had nothing but positive things to say. Would highly recommend!”

“I recently completed a major renovation on my home where we essentially rebuilt it stage by stage, eventually tripling the size of the house. Endpoint Electrical wired the entire project and were fantastic to work with from start to finish. Our build was a little unconventional compared to a standard new build, as we were living in the house the whole time. This meant the electrical work had to constantly adapt — thinking about both the present and the future, with some areas not even built yet while others were scheduled to be removed later on. Despite the challenges, the team handled everything professionally and thoughtfully. They are exceptional at what they do, very easy to communicate with, can think out of the box and all round a top blokes. I use them when ever I can and recommend to all.”

“Andy, Jake and their team were fantastic. Great communication, showed up when they said they would and with all materials there. They adapted smoothly to my atypical problems and their attention to detail was outstanding. Their work is so neat and tidy I asked them to back to tidy up a previous electrician's messy cabling. I've recommended End Point to multiple friends already and will keep coming back.”

Pymble Electrician FAQs
Can you put a video intercom at the gate of a long Pymble driveway?
Yes. The intercom at the gate needs cable back to the house, which usually goes underground in conduit along the driveway or beside a path. Some systems also need power at the gate for a lock or motor. We measure the run and look for the easiest trench route on the first visit, then quote with the trenching spelled out.
Can electric underfloor heating go into a Pymble bathroom renovation?
Yes, as long as it goes in before the tiles. The heating mat sits under the tile bed and runs on its own circuit with RCD protection, controlled by a thermostat on the wall. We run the circuit at rough-in and test the mat before the tiler covers it, then test again once the floor is done. Talk to us before the floor is prepared.
What outdoor lighting suits the established gardens in Pymble?
Most gardens look best with low path lights for walking and a few uplights on trees or walls for depth. Extra-low-voltage systems running from a transformer are common for garden lights and easy to extend later. We plan the positions with you, ideally at dusk, then put the lights on a timer or a switch inside the house.
